GMS Students Compete in Special Olympics

Ms. Jessica McKay's students  competed in the Special Olympics on Thursday, April 12th.

Abby Trantham placed 1st in the softball throw, first in the 50 meter dash, and 2nd in the standing long jump.

John Albert Hankins placed 2nd in the 100 meter walk, 2nd in the softball throw, and 4th in the standing long jump.

Gabriel Diaz-Hernandez placed 2nd in the 50 meter dash and 1st in the softball throw.

Aaron Owens placed 2nd in the softball throw, 4th in the standing long jump, and 1st in the 50 m dash.

Abby Sanders placed 3rd in the softball throw, 3rd in the standing long jump, and 2nd in the 50 meter dash.

Cassidy Jefferson placed 4th in the 100 meter walk and 2nd in the softball throw.

William Miller had a string of 1st place finishes! He placed 1st in standing long jump, running long jump, 200 m run, and in the 100 meter dash.
