H1N1 Immunization Clinic to be provided by Local Health Department

The Greene County Health Department will be providing H1N1 Influenza vaccinations for the students and staff of Greeneville City Schools.   This vaccination clinic is strictly voluntary. Children must be cooperative in order to receive the vaccine at the school based site. An information packet, including the consent forms for this vaccination, was sent home with all students Monday, Nov. 30th. 

The consent form must be completed, signed and returned to your student's school no later than 8:30 AM on Thursday, December 3rd , 2009 in order to participate in this clinic. The Greene County Health Department will review the forms and decide whether the student can be vaccinated at the school based clinic. The vaccine will not be given if the forms are not complete or if the vaccine is contraindicated for the individual. 

GMS will hold their clinic from 11:30 am-1:30 pm on Monday, Dec. 7th.
