I graduated from John Carroll University, in Ohio, with a bachelors degree in Middle Childhood Education with concentrations in Mathematics and Langauge Arts. I earned my first masters in Education from Bowling Green State University, in Ohio.  My focus was in Curriculum and Instruction.  I earned my second masters degree from East Tennessee State University in Education.  My concentration was Educational Media and Technology.  I am currently working on my Ed.D in Educational Leadership at ETSU.


I have moved around a bit as an adult and have had the opportunity to teach in many different types of schools in many different states.  From 2004-2006, I taught 7th and 8th grade math at St. Catherine Elementary in Toledo, Ohio.  From 2006-2008, I taught 7th and 8th grade math at Heritage Middle School in Middlebury, Indiana.  From 2008-2011, I taught 7th and 8th grade math at University School in Johnson City, TN.  I have been at GMS since 2011.  Last year, I served as the 7th grade math teacher, and this year I am looking forward to being in the library.
