GMS opened the season with a boys and girls victory over Chuckey Doak MS. The girls won by a score of 93 to 115. Brylee Catron was the low girl's score of the day with a 45. The boys' team won with a score of 198 to 230. Nathan Howlett was the low boy's score of the day with a 40. GMS will be back in action on Thursday in Newport.

The GMS Devils kicked off the season at Legion Field against Ross N. Robinson.
Varsity lost by a score of 9-2.
JV won 3-1.
