Welcome Letter

Hello GMS Students!!

My name is mrs. alex Standridge and I am the new speech-language pathologist at Greeneville middle school. I am excited to work with and get to know each of you this year. I hope you all had a restful and fabulous summer break.

We will spend some time completing ‘get to know you’ activities during our classes, but here is a little about me:

My name is Alexandria (Alex) Standridge and this is my first year working in the Greeneville city school system, but my 17th year working as a speech-language pathologist. I worked in greene co schools for 2 years and at Laughlin memorial hospital (now gche) for 14 years. I am married and have 2 children (Emma-9, Noah-6) that attend eastview elementary school. I grew up in Kentucky, but I’ve lived in Greeneville for 16 years. I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. A few of my favorite things include: food-chicken and dumplings; drink-coffee; color-blue; movie: The Wizard of OZ.

This will be a great year for all of us and I look forward to it!                      mrs. alex
