All About Mrs. Barkley

Welcome to sixth grade! I am very excited to work with you and your child to ensure a successful school year. I will be teaching your child English Language Arts or social studies.

 My name is Haley Barkley. This begins my eleventh year of teaching. Before coming to Greeneville Middle School, I taught in Washington County, Tennessee as a sixth and fourth grade teacher. I graduated from Tusculum College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, Arkansas State University with a Master of Education degree in Theory and Practice, and Lincoln Memorial University with an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership.

I will strive this year for the children to be happy, to want to come to school, and to have a positive learning experience. This will be a joint effort on the part of the teachers, parents/guardians, and children. I will hold your child to high expectations and hope you will do the same for me as his/her teacher this year.
