Assistant Principal Bryan Everhart

Bryan Everhart


Mr. Everhart brings nearly a decade of experience as a passionate educator and leader. His career has been marked by a focus on student achievement, staff collaboration, and cultivating a positive and inclusive school culture. He is widely respected for his conviction in the transformative power of strong relationships, shared values, and servant leadership to improve school communities.

A proud product of the very school system he now serves, Mr. Everhart earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Carson-Newman University and a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee State University. His academic background and leadership training have prepared him to support both students and staff while advancing a culture of excellence at Greeneville Middle School.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Everhart served in several capacities at Greeneville High School, including Assistant Media Specialist, Assistant Testing Coordinator, School Store Finance Director, and Business Teacher. He also served as a varsity assistant baseball coach, contributing to three state championships. In recognition of his early impact as an educator, he was named the 2017 recipient of the Greeneville City Schools Linda B. Stroud Rising Star Teacher Award.

Nancy Philbeck

Nancy Philbeck

Mrs. Philbeck earned a Bachelor of Music in Education from Tennessee Technology University in 1997. In 2005, Mrs. Philbeck earned OAKE Master Teacher Certification through the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and a Master of Music Education from East Tennessee State University. She also earned Computer Science Discoveries credentials in 2020 through UT Battelle before completing her Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with Administrative Endorsement from Lincoln Memorial University in 2021.

Mrs. Philbeck has served as an educator in Greeneville City Schools since 1999. Throughout her tenure in Greeneville City Schools, Mrs. Philbeck has served as music specialist, STEM leader, and TNReady TCAP testing coordinator at Hal Henard Elementary School. At the district level, she has developed and implemented numerous initiatives including the Greeneville City Schools District Elementary Typing Curriculum and the CarRider Pro Student Dismissal Program at Hal Henard Elementary School and Greeneville Middle School. Additionally, since 2015 Mrs. Philbeck has served as a 4th-8th grade FIRST Inspires Lego Robotics Coach and District Coordinator. Throughout the past 8 years, her 3rd – 8th grade Block Jocks robotics team has consistently earned top placement at regional and state-level competitions including six first-place state awards and in 2018 and 2022, the third place and second place overall Grand Champions Award qualifying the team for participation in the 80-team international FIRST Lego Robotics Invitational at the University of Arkansas. In addition, Mrs. Philbeck is routinely selected to serve as a robotics judge at regional and state competitions throughout the south. She was awarded the Greeneville City School's Excellence in Technology Award in 2015 and in 2020, she was selected to participate in the Tennessee STEM Innovation Network. In 2016, Mrs. Philbeck was selected as a member of the Greeneville City Schools Teacher Leader Academy, and in 2023 she was selected as a member of the Greeneville City Schools Aspiring Administrator Academy and site director for the Eastview & Hal Henard Summer Learning Camp.
