GMS Athletics: Golf, April 15, 2025
The GMS Boys defeated Lakeway Christian Academy and South Greene MS in golf action yesterday. Nate Howlett had the low score for GMS with an even par 36 and finished second on the day. Maps Gray finished in fourth place with a 42. Jackson Shipley posted his lowest match score of the season!
The girls had a tough day and placed 3rd. Addison Jeffers had the third best girls score overall.

The JV Devils gave up three early goals and fought back to almost even it out, but ultimately fell 3-2 to Crockett.

Meet Results, April 3, 2025
The Lady Devils finished in first place at Maryville on Thursday with a team score of 109.
The Devils finished in second place with a team score of 146.
Some records were broken at this meet.
Zy Neal broke the GMS Long Jump record with a distance of 20'10". He also broke the GMS 200 record.
The GMS Boys' 4x100 team broke the school record.
Andres Bowman moved to #1 in the state in High Jump with a jump of 5'11"!

Match Results, April 3, 2025:
The GMS boys and girls defeated Hawkins Co. Co-op and Rogersville City Schools in golf action at Link Hills. The GMS boys finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Nate Howlett was the lowest boys score, Maps Gray was 2nd, and Jaxson Lester was third. Maelynn Hux had the lowest girls' score of the day. GMS will be back in action Monday.
Change in schedule: Monday vs. Lakeway (Newport canceled). Tuesday will be only practice now.
